The core analysis world is less bright. It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of our friend and colleague, Kory Holmes, who passed away on the 4th of October 2023. Kory passed away unexpectedly after a short illness. He was surrounded by family and friends. Kory worked in core analysis for over 33 years with most of those years at Core Laboratories. He had a vast amount of knowledge in many areas of core analysis and could always come up with solutions to challenging problems in the lab. He was always cheerful and optimistic and never met a stranger. Kory will be missed more than words can say.
